Formed
in 1998 as a platform on which up and coming
artists from the UK and abroad could exhibit
their work, VTO's 1,500 square foot space
is situated on the 1st floor of an East
End warehouse. It's eclectic array of shows
is demonstrated by the fact that the gallery
was the first in this country to show the
Danish art group rasnmus knuds. They showed
The Soccergette Firm; a apiece which took
a look at British fanzine culture. The work
is typical of this indie gallery which prides
itself on its international outlook.
