Sali Gia

On entering this converted council flat based in cosmopolitan Clapham Common, you are invited to clean away 'the remains of the Old World' in a washbasin if you so desire. The whole ethos of this gallery endeavours to function as some sort of personal space, or as the gallery say, 'a space for discussion of possible futures, and visions of new ways of social and psychical organisation'. Cool. The website features artists such as , Henriette Heise, Jakob Jakobsen and Charles Fourier, who experiment with the notions of technology/science and art. Participation in diverse activities is high on the agenda, from psychogeographical experiments and informal presentations to home brewing and DIY. An eclectic mixture of New Age philosophy, experimental art and dodgy home brew.
